Grass in a flash Hydroseeding is a process used to seed grass on commercial sites that are large, inaccessible or unsuitable for conventional methods of obtaining a lawn or turf area. For residential sites which require the look of an established lawn immediately, the conventional method is to lay sod just as you would carpet.
